Pat Larter
Curated by Steven Miller and Danielle Hakim
May 7th - May 30th 2015
Opening Night: Thursday 7th of May 6-8pm

Femail Art is an exhibition focusing on the Mail Art practice of Pat Larter (1936-1996).
For this exhibition at Mailbox Art Space performance objects, mail art, video works and ephemera have been drawn from the Larter Archives at AGNSW giving an overview of this often overlooked aspect of Pat Larter's work. A figurehead of the International Mail Art movement, Pat was well known for her transgressive performances and humour, this will be the first solo exhibition dedicated to Pat's Mail Art in Australia.

Mailbox would like to acknowledge the generous assistance of The Art Gallery of New South Wales and the Pat Larter Estate for making this exhibition possible.
The Pat Larter Estate is represented by Watters Gallery, Sydney.
